Riders looking to upgrade or tune their suspension to top level performance are likely familiar with the aftermarket tuners known as PUSH.
Their latest offering mates a proprietary coil spring with a pneumatic bump-stop that allows riders to fine-tune the lower third of travel. Essentially allowing you to have your cake and eat it too, the spring kit is hyper-sensitive for small bumps while ramping up properly at the end of its travel and avoiding a harsh bottom out.
A lot of riders looking to eke out additional performance of their rides have been making the switch to coil sprung rear suspension, in a trend that almost reverse mirrors the trend towards lighter weight air suspension in dedicated DH bikes. For riders already running a rear coil shock, (like the PUSH Elevensix) the ACS-3 was developed in order to bring a similar level of performance to the front of the bikes.
A coil spring replaces the stock air spring for the plushest ride possible and is paired with an airsprung bump-stop, creating a hybrid design intended to bring the best characteristics of each spring type into play.
Manufactured in the USA, the aftermarket kits will be available to fit Fox 36 models as well as the Rockshox Pike, with MSRP coming in at $389. Learn more at PushIndustries.com
