The Hardline Trail is a new addition to the Triple H trails in Sedona. The “H” trails feature some of Arizona’s most technical and challenging (legal) mountain bike routes in the Sedona area. The “Triple H” initially consisted of the Hiline, Hangover, and Hogs trails, known for technical riding and epic views, and are some of the biggest draws for mountain bikers seeking unique and challenging riding experiences.
The Hardline Trail is a new addition with a unique story in its creation. It’s been popping up on our social media feeds lately, and when we came across this video documenting the story of how it came to exist, we had to share it.
Here’s a video that was recently posted to YouTube focused on the experience of riding the new double black diamond trail.
A unique trail origin story
The Hardline Trail is unique in the Sedona trail system as it’s the first double black diamond trail built with permission and approval from the US Forest Service. Trails like this don’t happen easily, and there are a lot of barriers and challenges in order to make a project like this happen.
It’s been a few years since my last pilgrimage to Sedona. Seeing this, I can’t wait to get back. Who has it on their road trip bucket list for 2025?
