At $2799.98, the Diamondback Release 4C carbon complete bike is quite possibly one of the best values for a new bike at the moment. The full carbon monocoque frame is shod with 27.5″ wheels, (threaded BB!) and features Fox Performance Float suspension at both ends. Shifting duties are handled by SRAM’s NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, and braking by SRAM Guide R brakes. A KS Lev SI dropper keeps the saddle out of the way and the bike even includes pedals.
While we’d prefer bottle cage mounts on the inside of the frame, you can still mount a bottle on the bottom of the downtube. And with this much bang for the buck, you’re getting a lot of bike for the money.
<UPDATE: Diamondback raised the price of the Release 4C today; though it is still on sale, it is now $3,399.>
