One of the biggest challenges of apartment living and maintaining a fleet of bikes is where to store tools and parts. It was a lot worse when we lived in SF, but now we’re living on the other side of the bay there is a bit more room to play with. It also meant I finally had enough space to justify a roller tool cart. I’ve been envious of many of the man caves friends have and some bad ass roller tool boxes, with tons of space to store a massive amount of tools. Until I have a garage with a space worthy of creating a man cave of my own, I’m making do with a dinning room area converted into the kitchen bike shop with this sweet new acquisition: a utility tool cart from Harbor Freight. I’ve been looking for a nice utility cart with roller bearing drawers and casters for sometime, and when we met I knew she was coming home with me. Featuring a 580lb. capacity, two locking casters and four drawers, my tools have finally found a home. And I’m super stoked it’s not fire engine red, because well, it’s in my kitchen. The best part? It’s currently on sale for only $129.99. (that’s $100 off the regular price)
