Spank Industries took a different approach when it came to developing their handlebars. Instead of choosing to go with carbon like the rest of the industry, they stuck with their guns, focusing on aluminum. But what makes their bar different from the norm is their Vibrocore damping system.
Low density foam is added to the bar, reducing vibrations and damping shock to your hands. Offered in two handlebar models, the Spike and the more trail oriented Oozy, the bars look to be the ticket for riders with tired and aching hands.
The bars also feature Spanks’s Impact Ends; featuring thicker walls at the ends of the bars, they add additional material for durability in the inevitable crash. Even better, they’re available in four different rises, something that’s becoming a rarity these days.
If you’re concerned with durability of carbon bars and looking for a stiff bar that should help with numb hands they look worth checking out. The bars list for $99.
