This weekend marks the 5th iteration of the SF Bike Expo put on by the gang at RideSFO. The event seems to grow exponentially every year, thanks to the nice weather we’ve been enjoying in the Bay Area is what is supposed to be winter. As always, the headline event is the huck-filled display of skill known as AT’s Showdown where big jumps are flipped and whipped for our amusement. There also is a fixed gear comp, swap meet, Bicycle Fashion Show, and a ton of exhibitors showing off the newest stuff. It should be a good time. (check out our posts on previous years here)

Speaking of cool events, if you’re in the Northwest, (Portland to be exact) and enjoy bike related shenanigans and beer, Amanda Sundvor of Backyard Blam fame is putting on her latest shindig at the Chrome PDX location. As with all of Amanda’s events, it promises to be a memorable. This time around, Joe Prisel, Bike Park Builder Extrodinaire will be on hand getting the build on. This one’s going down on November 18th, so mark those calendars Portlanders.
