SDG Bel-Air RL 2.0 Ti-Alloy Saddle

I’ve been running SDG Saddles for years now… my favorite model? The Bel-Air. When I saw the latest edition on Instagram in the all black color, it instantly became my favorite iteration to date and I had to have one.

Like many contemporary saddles, the Bel-Air features a relief channel from tip to tail SDG calls the Peri-Canal, designed to keep the pressure off your bits and pieces. It’s the shape of the Bel-Air that clicks my boxes though. A down curved nose reduces snagging and aids in climbing while the rear of the saddle features  a slight rise which gives you a spot to stage against while grinding up the mountain. There’s a nice sweet spot in the middle as well, where I generally find myself.

The seat cover is perforated with some models showing color underneath. I’ve been fond of the red and blue models in the past, but this time around I chose to go with the black model as black never grows old. Weighing in at 230g, the Bel-Air runs 270mm long with a width of 140mm. Suitable for applications ranging from road, XC, CX and endurance riding, our ti-alloy rail iteration runs $99.
