Scotts Valley Pump Track: First Look

The Santa Cruz pump track scene is blowing up! Construction on the new Scotts Valley pump track is complete, and it is now open to the public, with the official grand opening happening this weekend.

MBOSC is hosting the shindig on October 4th, 2014 that will feature a ribbon cutting, demo by local pro riders and raffle prizes. Located near the dog park in Scotts Valley’s Sky Park, it’s the largest pump track in the Santa Cruz county at approximately 14,000 square feet. It was built by Action Sports Construction and a number of volunteers. The on going maintenance of the track will be coordinated by Scott Valley Cycle Sport.

There are two distinct straights going into it from the start mound: a far right line with includes a (rollable) step up table top jump and an easier line to the left sticking to large rollers for beginners.
