Since acquiring our Dodge Promaster, I’ve sunk countless hours into research van conversions looking for inspiration. Most the van conversions posted have been using Sprinters, but Promasters and Transits have been popping up with more frequency. When I spotted this impressive Promaster build out by Ryan Wells of Rydawell Woodworks in Seattle, I had to learn more as his work was not just functional but beautifully executed.

The rear of the van is usable as cargo space with a dining area and bed that folds down depending on their needs. Photos: Rydawell Woodworks
Although a mountain biker himself, his van conversion focuses on livability while retaining the ability to still function as a daily driver and work vehicle. It also showcases his amazing work.
He recently embarked on a multi-state road trip, bringing along two bikes using fork mounts to store the bikes inside the van.
