Getting naked in public is not out of the norm for us as cyclists. I’m referring of course, to the ritual of changing out of our riding gear post-ride. Whether you’re opting to change outside or inside your vehicle, we’re either changing into our riding gear or changing post-ride — no one likes sitting around in a soggy pair of shorts.
I’ve been changing in parking lots for years now, both in and outside of vehicles. My go-to has been a microfiber towel, tucked at the waist, and silently hoping it doesn’t accidentally fall — leaving my goods on display. (sometimes accidents happen)
So when I came across the Transition Wrap 2.0 by Orange Mud, I knew immediately I needed to try this changing towel + seat cover.
Features
The Transition Wrap is a microfiber, multipurpose changing towel and a seat cover with an adjustable belt and secure clip to keep it put. It also features a zip-up removable hoodie to slip over your headrest for a securely placed seat cover.
Towel details include:
- Microfiber 30″ x 60″
- Adjustable belt with a secure clip
- Zip up the integrated hoodie pocket and slip over the headrest
- Available in 9 color options
The consensus? Recommended! I adore this simple yet important accessory and it doesn’t take up much space in my gear bag. It’s great to be able to quickly change without any mishaps. And If I decide I just want to rush home without changing, using it as a seat cover is quite handy too. I’ve washed it once in cold and hung it to dry —it doesn’t hold on to dirt stains and can easily be spot treated as well.
The Orange Mud Transition 2.0 Wrap lists for $39.95. Learn more at Orangemud.com or support the site by shopping Orange Mud on Amazon.com.
