On June 9-11, Hood River, Oregon is playing host to a new kind of event: the Outfound Series. An adventure sports and innovation festival, participation is not just encouraged, it’s the reason for coming.
Also referred to as experiential marketing, the outdoor industry has embraced the concept, creating settings where consumers, brands and adventurers can gather. Part trade show, part festival, it’s intended as a gathering of the tribe where participants can do more than walk around all day and hobnob all evening, but actually take part in brand experiences.
The Outfound Series features Outfound Talks, a series of short presentations from leaders in the outdoor space, an Expo consumer show where brands will not only showcase but demo their latest products all in the best and most ideal setting for it: the Columbia River Gorge.
