We’ve been fans of Mission Workshop gear for sometime now, as well as their philosophy for making stuff. When we saw sneak peeks of a new hydration pack being tested on their Instagram account, it definitely perked our interest. Their new pack the Hauser, features a dry bag style approach to design and style cues from their line of urban roll tops for weather proof storage, as well as the design features you’d hope for and expect in a pack intended for MTB adventures. As expected, there are provisions for a helmet and pad carry, as well as easy access pockets for trail side tools and a pump. There’s also removable tool-roll that looks quite helpful for keeping track of stuff during those oft-time trailside repairs.
They recently launched a new website to promote their new line of gear, which also includes pieces previously marketed to the urban commuter market as well as a peek at a new trail-specific technical trail short and softshell jacket. There’s also some drool-worthy photography featured of dudes on epic adventures. The stuff isn’t cheap, but premium goods never are. Time to start saving.
