We’re rather fond of our Honda Element; it’s a versatile vehicle that’s served us well through thick and thin. Before investing in our van, we had aspirations of converting our Element into a camper, and I fashioned a crude bed platform that housed us on a number of adventures.
It wasn’t anywhere as amazing as the camper conversion from Fifth Element. Their system combined with the Ecamper looks like the best Element setup we’ve seen to date, solving the biggest issue with sleeping and living out of a Honda Element: livability.

With an Ecamper popped up, you can actually stand in the vehicle, but that is only the answer to half the problem: what do you do when the adventures are done, or it’s raining out? The Micro Camper System solves that, with a storage cabinet that keeps your gear organized. Four flip down doors create a work top space, and combined with the convertible bench (it also turns into a bed) it creates a mobile office for those down times.
When the heck is Honda coming out with a successor to the Element already?
