Last week, at the BTCEB’s monthly Ride Like a Girl group session at Tamarancho, the ladies received a bit of special treatment in the form of sampling the newest addition to the trail network, the flow trail. The trail isn’t due to open for a few more weeks, but it seems that being a lady and asking Jim nicely goes a long ways— especially since Inga and a number of the ladies have already come out and helped to help build.
Because work is still underway, they were limited to the top section, which is nearly finished. For many of them, it was a completely new trail riding experience, so Inga gave a quick demonstration of proper form and some basic pump track handling tips.
Many of the women on the BTCEB Ride Like a Girl group ride have never ridden a flow trail. As the ride leader that day, it was neat to be able to show them the new trail and to demonstrate the proper way to ride it. We had a ton of fun and there was a lot of excitement to ride the entire flow trail once it is finished. Thanks again Jim!
