Many of us have been riding with our saddles tilted slightly downward so that it’s more comfortable while climbing. Of course, that angle is totally annoying everywhere else, whether it’s flat, rolling terrain, or descending. The Aenomaly Constructs Switchgrade Saddle Tilt adjuster reinvents how we look at the modern seat post and allows the rider to adapt their saddle angle to optimize it for the grade they’re currently riding on.
Now in its second iteration, the SwitchGrade is pretty straightforward in its operation. You bolt it to your seat post head. You mount your saddle on it. There’s a lever that allows you to quickly rotate your seat angle up or down. The new iteration of the post offers 3 positions: climb, descend, and flat, or neutral. That’s it.

At $234, it’s not cheap, costing almost as much as your dropper post. However, they’re CNC machined in Canada, and with the new version, the price has come down to $185.
The components are CNC machined from 7075 T6 and 6061 T6 aluminum, and the pieces are easily rebuildable should maintenance be required.

In terms of use, you can set it to offer 2 or 3 different title angles. Aenomaly offers different fit adapters, so that you can run it on a range of dropper post models, though from what I’m hearing, you’ll probably want to get one for each bike you have.
