We’re familiar with bike stands similar to the Feedback Sports Rakk from our days wrenching for independent bike shops. They’re useful for holding bikes upright via the front or back wheel for displays via a spring loaded arm. What we didn’t realize is how handy they were at home or in the office.
The unit does exactly as promised, and it does it well. We used it to hold up city bikes, 29ers and our all mountain bike. With a retail price of $42 for a unit, it is an inexpensive way to avoid unsightly marks on the wall at home, in the garage, or in the office. As our current dwelling is somewhat micro-sized, I brought the unit into the office to keep my bikes from getting knocked around and it does the job it was intended. The rack has connectors that will allow you to add additional units to store multiple bikes which is recommended if you have the space, as the additional weight will keep the rack from sliding around when mounting and removing your ride.
