An update from Portland from Raul Atencio, on the Eichler Bike Park Rebuild: “Here are some pics from Eichler Build Day # 4. A couple more build days and this park will be 100% rideable.
This was Saturday 25th; this time we had a mini-excavator and we had about 18 volunteers from 9:00 to 5:00, we had a nice BBQ with some hot dogs and sodas for the volunteers. Several parents and kids from the community came out and helped, and some of the little rippers were already loving the place.
So far we have done 3 big tables with expert and intermediate lines, a starting mound, one double roller, one step up roller, and one berm. It’s looking really good- looking forward to have this park ready for opening by the end of July.”
It looks like they could use a lot more dirt! Anyone got a lead on some good clay?
