It appears that the extended Bay Area will be getting one more bike park added to the list of what is available to ride soon. Located in the Elk Grove Regional Park, the park is will be 2.4 acres, and include the following amenities: (PDF Link)
- Pump tracks
- Jump lines
- Skills Areas
- Flow trail
According to the operational plan listed on the bike park site, the bike park will be open to the public during daylight hours at no charge. The Hilride Design group has been contracted for the construction and design of the park, with finish work and maintenance provided by volunteers.
in Elk Grove. According to a Facebook post, construction began in June with initial grading and the installation of a drainage system. At present time, the projected opening date is at the end of August.
