SF and Bay Area Riders: Support McLaren Bike Park

The SF Urban Riders are working to bring a bicycle skills park to San Francisco. A location has been identified in McLaren Park and discussions are underway to make this dream a reality. However, as part of the process, we’re asking everyone to show their support for the project by signing the petition and writing in a personal letter of support. Even if you don’t live in SF. Why not-  it would just be another rad place to ride on a road trip from wet NW winters. Sign it because you’d want riders in another place to support sanctioned riding spots near you. Just sign it. Please direct any questions regarding the bikepark here.

For more info, check out the McLaren Bike Park page on Facebook.

SF Urban Riders is working with Hilride Progression Development Group to ensure that this park will be professionally designed and constructed, and ultimately become a unique draw to visitors from the Bay Area and beyond.

Its design will contain elements appealing to families with children just getting comfortable on two wheels, young adults seeking the thrills of a jump park or wanting to improve their technical skills and anyone that wants to experience the joy of riding a bicycle in an off road environment.  It will feature beginner to advanced level bike features such as flowing trails, berms, progressive table top jumps, dirt jumps, wooden ladders, wall rides, a pump track, and much more.
